Background:
In order to offer traders in building materials a clear insight in the
possibilities of glazing colours, Tichelaar asked Peter Struycken to
compose a collection. Apart from his prestige as an artist, Struycken
is held in high esteem as an expert in the field of colours and
especially of colours in an outdoor setting. By choosing shade,
saturation and clarity as parameters, a colour circle emerged with a
complete overview of colours, which can all be combined. This colour
series is today the backbone of our collection of brick glazings.
